- Justin Bieber presented new audio products, under his SKYLRK brand
- There’s no pricing or specs yet – we’re in the teasing phase on Instagram
- The range includes two Bluetooth speakers and a set of over-ear headphones
He may source his peaches from Georgia, but Justin Bieber gets his Bluetooth speakers from his own brand SKYLRK — that’s light straight from the source (yeah).
The Biebs actually put his name on an audio kit over a decade ago (a pair of purple Beats by Dre JustBeats, as it happens), but this is the first time the pop star has added audio splits to his own lifestyle brand SKYLRK, which more regularly hosts Bieber-approved clothing and sneakers.
I’ll be honest: the headphones look a little plain: there are large over-ears and a headband, seen on the singer himself in the millennial pink color that SKYLRK fans will be accustomed to (and more colorways are promised). They look a bit like the Sonos Ace…
But the speakers? I can support them.
STAY AWAY – and check out these cool new Bieber Bluetooth speakers
If I were mean, I might compare these Bluetooth speakers to medicine balls. But that’s probably because I’m currently recovering from shoulder surgery and pretty much every new technology prototype or wireless audio system I see looks like a physical therapist’s torture device to me.
With my positive glasses on, these speakers look very promising. This huge, circular, cushion-like design is going to house some pretty sizable speakers – and maybe even a stereo arrangement in the larger unit, right? They look like the portable speakers I wish B&O would release: something bigger than the excellent, five-star Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 3rd Gen.
My only complaint with this speaker was its palm-friendly size: I wanted a larger option. What if Justin Bieber Intentions I have to bring this to the party, as it appears to be the case from the main image, I’m Confident it will be great Business in audio space.
I particularly like the larger of the two speakers, which can be seen below in an orange finish very similar to the new shade of the AirPods Max 2. I can’t help but think they would look great together on a lazy Sunday at the beach.
Again, I wish I had more specs and pricing to share, but these types of social media drip reveals just don’t work like that. For now we wait (hopefully not before) 10,000 hours, but you know, patience is a virtue).
