Princess Kate’s delightful new update on her and Prince William’s youngest son, Prince Louis, reminded fans of her cousin Prince Archie, living across the pond.
On April 23, the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated Louis’ eighth birthday with two separate posts.
First, the couple released the official birthday portrait of their little one, which was also used by King Charles’ team to send him warm greetings.
Welsh’s second post was a video showcasing Louis’ skills. From playing cricket to confidently diving into the sea, George and Charlotte’s brother has been winning hearts online.
Notably, on April 2, Meghan Markle posted a short, fun video clip on her official Instagram page in which Archie shows off his skiing skills alongside Prince Harry.
“My boys. I’m a quick learner, Archie! So proud,” the Duchess of Sussex wrote in the caption of the message.
Kate Middleton’s similar approach to marking Louis’ big day sparked reactions, as it appears the future queen took inspiration from Meghan.
