Kundi calls for united stance to secure KP rights

He stressed that the province must effectively raise its voice for its constitutional rights.

PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday said the people of the province and the country’s security forces have made unprecedented sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, but regretted that lack of resources is often brought up during discussions on the province’s constitutional rights.

Addressing the First Achievement Awards 2026 ceremony organized by Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Governor’s House in Peshawar, Kundi said the opposition would stand with the government on all issues concerning the interests of the province and play its full role in promoting the development of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

He stressed that the province must effectively raise its voice for its constitutional rights through constitutional and legal means.

The ceremony was attended by Iranian Consul General Ali Banafshehkhah, President of Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Syed Ahmad Jan, President of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Junaid Altaf, Syed Ahmad Sikandar, Haji Attaur Rehman and office bearers of Haripur Chamber.
