Nikki Glaser took some pointed jabs at Leonardo DiCaprio when she hosted the Golden Globes, but the actor enjoyed the joke.
After the awards ceremony, Glaser, in keeping with her habit for the celebrities she roasts during her hosting segments, she sent the Titanic starry flowers.
DiCaprio himself sent him a gift in return, as the comedian and host told Jimmy Fallon during Tonight’s show.
“He sent me three baskets of pasta as a thank you. So funny. So good. Part of me was like, ‘Does Leo want to break?’ I was like, ‘All right,'” Glaser told the host.
However, she added: “The kind of girl he’s looking for, he wouldn’t send pasta,” she mused before joking, “Spaghetti O’s – maybe I would have been more his type. A crib full of Dunkaroos and Go-Gurts, I would have said, ‘Oh, he’s into me.’ He goes out with young girls. I can’t stop! ยป
THE Shutter Island The actor took Glaser’s joke in good humor and his gift directly reflected that.
During the ceremony, she joked that the actor was such a private person that no information about him was available online. Except when he once said his favorite food was pasta, in a 1991 interview.
DiCaprio laughed and said “Yes!” and gave Glaser a thumbs up as she made the joke.
She also told Fallon that she had trouble coming up with a joke about the Don’t look for actor because she didn’t want to joke about her younger girlfriends since it had become a redundant fact about her.
