Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear divided over their priorities as the couple faces a new dilemma.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have maintained a united front with the public while continuing to support each other in their efforts. However, it’s hard to ignore that Harry and Meghan have been going completely separate paths lately.
Harry had focused on his charitable work, while Meghan was building her brand. However, Harry is also said to be working towards a reconciliation with the royal family, who are ready to move forward with the Duke but do not like the Duchess.
The royal family will reunite for a happy occasion this month as Peter Philips marries Harriet Sperling in an intimate wedding. Royal author Duncan Larcombe revealed that while Peter doesn’t have “beef” with his cousin Harry, the invitation is being withheld because of Prince William.
Furthermore, the former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond previously pointed out that Harry and Meghan’s presence at the wedding would only distract from the bride and groom and cause unnecessary drama.
Duncan noted that the events are testing Harry while Meghan remains focused on building her brand.
Harry faces his “worst nightmare” as he lives the life of a “pseudo-royal celebrity, who brings with him all the things he hated growing up.”
“He’s stuck in the world of red carpets and camera flashes, which was never easy for him as a child. Whereas with Meghan, red carpets and cameras are part of building her brand, so she has to shield herself from Harry’s chaos to achieve what she wants,” he explained.
Meghan is reportedly worried about their financial situation and she’s not willing to let royal drama get in the way of her goals.
