Smeg’s new wine cellars are perfect for storing your Sauvignon, chilling your Chablis and chilling your Chenin Blanc – and they look really cool too.

  • New undercounter coolers have a capacity of 38 bottles
  • They are available in stainless steel or matt Neptune gray
  • They protect your wine with an activated carbon filter and anti-UV glass

Worried about keeping your wine at the optimal temperature this summer — and also worried about style? Smeg has launched a new range of undercounter wine coolers that bridge the gap between its built-in and column wine coolers. These have a capacity of 21 and 78 bottles respectively; the new undercounter coolers have a capacity of 38 bottles.

The new range includes three models: the Classic, in stainless steel and available with a choice of right or left opening, and the Linea, which is right-handed and available in matt Neptune gray. All three models are available now.

As you’d expect from Smeg (which produces many of the best coffee makers we’ve tested over the years), these are premium products with stylish designs, although the themes here are classic and professional rather than the bright colors of Smeg’s instantly recognizable small appliances and fridges, such as the toaster, juicer, kettle and stand mixer I have in my kitchen. These coolers are designed to integrate with the company’s Professional Collection and Linea Neptune Gray Collection.
