NYT Strands today (game #784) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #784, are…
- ARGUE
- DIFFER
- QUARREL
- DISPUTE
- QUARREL
- BIGGLE
- SPANGRAM: LOCKHORNS
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
I originally thought the theme “Give It A Go” described new hobbies, like when you take up something new – like baking, model trains, or puzzles. Spotting ARGUE put an end to that notion and sent me on the path to enlightenment – or should we say the path to disagreement.
The order in which you spot the words in the game is crucial to how quickly you complete the strands.
If I had seen LOCKHORNS and WRANGLE first, I would have thought we were looking to get in some rodeo action. This was obviously not the case.
