The answers to today’s Strands, game #780, are…
- REPAIR

- REDUCE
- SPANGRAM: CONSERVATION
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
Today is of course Earth Day, an annual event where we can all, as a human race, show our support for the environment by behaving sustainably and thinking about how we can protect the planet for the future. Maybe not blowing it up would be a good start.
Although the theme is obvious, I was pretty slow to get started today and saw a lot of words that I should have timed as game words.
In fact, I saw “refunded” before I saw REPAIR, “retain” before the CONSERVATION spangram, and “cycle” before RECYCLE.
Unlike previous games, this one was decidedly lacking in ridiculously long words – perhaps the game’s creators chose not to waste their letters.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Tuesday April 21, Thu #779)
- BOLD
- INTREPID
- GUTSY
- BRAVE
- ADVENTUROUS
- SPANGRAM: THE DAREDEVILS
