Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday approved the draft federal budget 2026-2027. He chaired a cabinet meeting in Islamabad to review the budget proposals.
Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed his gratitude to the coalition parties for their full support in the Budget 2026-2027.
The Prime Minister also thanked the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for its assistance.
During the cabinet meeting, federal ministers and state ministers expressed their support for the prime minister by knocking on their desks.
The Prime Minister thanked Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Pakistan Muslim League (Q) (PML-Q).
