Prince George set to reconnect with his cousin in an unexpected twist

Prince William and Princess Kate have reportedly made a crucial decision for their eldest son, Prince George, and are already ready to launch him into the next phase of his royal life.

As a future monarch and following royal tradition, the 12-year-old will join a boarding school in September, officially kicking off the protocol for the heir to the throne.

There has already been a lot of speculation surrounding which school the Prince and Princess of Wales have chosen for the young prince, but Kensington Palace will be making the announcement until the very “last minute.”

However, under unexpected circumstances, George could eventually join one of his cousins at boarding school, according to Daily mail.

Sources have revealed Princess Beatrice’s ‘bonus son’ Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi – affectionately known as ‘Wolfie’ – could come to Eton College, a favorite for Wales’ eldest child. Béatrice and her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi were seen looking at the scene.

Beatrice’s husband Edo shared Wolfie with American architect Dara Huang, who had previously expressed concerns about the safety of children in the country following a series of school shooting incidents.

It would therefore not be a stretch for Dara and Edo to consider the UK for their 10-year-old child’s schooling. Additionally, Beatrice has also expressed her affection for her stepson and it would be an easy drive from the Cotswolds if Wolfie went to Eton.

There is no confirmation in either case. There are other schools in consideration for George, such as alma mater Marlborough and Kate’s Oundle School.

Even if George and Wolfie end up at the same school, George would be older than his distant cousin. But it remains to be seen how things will play out for the two young boys.
