More than three months after the United States and Israel launched a war against Iran, new hopes have emerged that the conflict will soon end.
The war affected not only the countries directly involved, but also the global economy, as the closure of the Strait of Hormuz pushed oil prices to historic highs, fueled inflation, and hampered global economic growth.
Pakistan, the main mediator, has intensified its diplomatic efforts in recent days, with the visit to Iran of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defense Forces (CDF), Field Marshal Asim Munir.
