On Tuesday, Prince William made a house a beautiful “home” to live in.
The Prince of Wales was seen stuck as he helped prepare care packages filled with essential items to warmly welcome new tenants as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
The Instagram video shows a smile on his face as he carried chairs around properties, working with local partners and networks to ensure each home feels like home from the moment residents walk through the door.
He was involved in every stage of the preparations before taking time to meet new residents and support staff at Langstane Housing Association.
The visit marked the homes’ completion, a milestone that William was determined to celebrate in person after long championing the importance of providing people not only with a roof over their heads, but also a place where they can truly belong.
Rather than miss the opportunity, Prince William made sure to be there to greet residents himself, demonstrating that creating a home is about more than bricks and mortar.
