The Prince and Princess of Wales play an important role in the royal family as the future king and queen. King Charles therefore delegated certain key responsibilities to the couple.
However, there is noise in the royal household as a major meeting looms between King Charles and the Sussexes, something Prince William does not agree to. Even if sources claim that the meeting is organized so that the monarch can finally meet his grandchildren.
While William may not be keen on the idea, it’s possible that mother-of-three Princess Kate will soften to her niece and nephew, as her latest post suggests.
The Prince and Princess of Wales provided an update on Kate’s visit to Italy, during which she spoke in depth about early childhood and how relationships are a crucial aspect of it all.
“It is vital to preserve the spirit of childhood alongside healthy development,” Kate wrote in her new essay, reflecting on her visit.
“Childhood is fundamental to developing a healthy balance of mind, body, and spirit. But children are not simply learners of information. They do not analyze joy but experience it; they do not intellectualize connection, but embody it. They experience the world through feeling – through love.”
Given Kate’s emphasis on young children, the royal family might make an exception for Prince Harry’s children.
Meghan Markle’s arrival alongside Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet is not yet officially confirmed, but Prince Harry will arrive in the UK for a five-day visit next month.
The future queen has a close bond with her father-in-law given their shared battle with cancer, so she may be able to put aside some of her grievances for the reunion.
