I love my game PC, but it is not the most portable device in the world. At the same time, my iPhone 16 Pro is not able to play the best PC games due to all kinds of compatibility problems. This is why Razer’s latest announcement – the launch of its PC distance game system – has bitten my interest.
According to the Razer website, PC Remote Play allows you to broadcast your PC games to a mobile device such as a iPhone or iPad, portable game devices or Windows computer. It is also compatible with a range of mobile game controllers, while it supports keyboards, mice and trackpads when associated with a tablet.
Razer says that PC distance game can automatically optimize your games depending on the device and the screen on which they are played. It takes into account the maximum resolution and the rate of refreshment of your device, without locking your games at a fixed appearance ratio.
When used on an Android device associated with a RAZER KISHI Ultra controller, the PC distance game can also add haptic feedback to the mixture. And it works with many of the largest games and libraries, including Steam, Epic Games, Microsoft Game Pass, etc.
Gaming above the air
I do my just part of mobile games, but I have never been really convinced to migrate away from my game PC. Most of my favorite titles, like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3, have no native mobile versions. Hand game devices like the steam game, on the other hand, have always cost more than I wanted to spend.
With something like Razer’s PC distance game, I can use my existing iPhone and game controller to play far from my office (as long as I am in the connection range of my PC, of course). Its optimization characteristics are the icing on the cake.
But will he convince me to spend most of my playing time on my iPhone? Maybe not, because nothing beats the PC experience on the big screen for me. But if you are looking for a new way of playing on your mobile device without having to buy an expensive steam game or a similar product, it could be worth it.
