Both countries agree to strengthen cooperation on capacity building between their judicial systems

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said Pakistan and Azerbaijan are brotherly countries and their bilateral ties are growing stronger day by day during a meeting with Azerbaijani Justice Minister Farid Turab Oglu Ahmadov.
Prime Minister Shehbaz welcomed the visiting minister and said that relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan were growing stronger day by day. He also conveyed his greetings to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, fondly remembering their telephone conversation from earlier this week.
The Azerbaijani minister thanked Pakistan for the warmth and hospitality extended to him. He briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz about the ongoing collaboration between the two countries in the field of legal and judicial cooperation.

Within the framework of their existing mechanisms, both parties are actively working together to strengthen mutual legal assistance mechanisms as well as to ensure capacity building of the judicial systems of both countries.
The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of both sides and said he looked forward to meeting with President Ilham Aliyev soon, in order to continue the excellent bilateral cooperation between the two sides, in all fields.
