President Donald Trump praised the achievements of Shohei Ohtani while he welcomed the Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House on Monday to celebrate their title in 2024.
Trump talked a lot about the Japanese dodgers star who put himself in a club to him during the regular season of 2024. He became the first striker in the history of the MLB to strike at least 50 circuits and to steal at least 50 bases. The president turned to shake Ohtani’s hand and seemed to be amazed.

“He looks like a movie star,” said Trump. “He has a good future, I tell you.”
Ohtani had 54 circuits, 59 stolen bases, struck. 390 and driven in 130 points produced in 159 games for dodgers. He received the MVP from the National League for his efforts. It was his first season with Los Angeles after signing a huge $ 700 million contract over 10 years with the team during the previous off -season.
Trump said that Ohtani won the 50-50 moment in a match in which he went 6 for 6. He said that some called him “the biggest game of all time”. He had three circuits and 10 points produced in the match.

“Is it good,” asked Trump jokingly, Davie Roberts, who replied: “He is only improving.”
“And he improves. It’s scary for many people,” said Trump.
Later, Ohtani took a photo with Trump in the Oval Office and posed next to the Declaration of Independence.
Ohtani helped Dodgers as a title of the national league division and he continued to knock hot in the playoffs. He had three circuits between the series of the National League division and the series of championships of the National League.
He cooled during the World Series, but the team still managed to defeat New York Yankees in five games. It was the second dodgers title since 2020.

This season, Ohtani has three circuits in 11 games. It strikes. 268 with three products produced and two stolen bases. It can also return to the mound and return to pitch.
