Amy Schumer made it clear she wasn’t at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rehearsal dinner, pretending she was.
The comedian posted on Instagram on Thursday (July 2), “The rehearsal dinner was sick. Who knows if she has plans for us tonight.”
The tongue-in-cheek message was a playful nod to the frenzy surrounding Swift and Kelce’s upcoming nuptials, which are now confirmed to take place in New York.
Sources confirmed this week that guests had been informed that Madison Square Garden was their meeting point, with the rehearsal dinner taking place on Thursday and the wedding itself expected on Friday, July 3.
The secrecy surrounding the event was extraordinary.
Insiders shared that the save the date was sent electronically and guests were required to sign an NDA before receiving details.
“Taylor and Travis told guests to be in New York. No other locations were indicated,” a close source said.
“They spend a lot of money, millions.” Another source called the wedding theme “whimsical.”
The couple has been together since 2023, when Kelce moved during one of Swift’s Eras tour shows.
Their relationship became public when Swift came to support him at a Kansas City Chiefs game, although she later clarified that it was far from their first date.
