WWE’s Sami Zayn lashes out at CM Punk after losing title on ‘Raw’

WWE star Sami Zayn was furious after CM Punk made a spectacular return to “Monday Night Raw” in Chicago and defeated him for the undisputed championship.

Zayn was supposed to have a match with Cody Rhodes before Gunther released “American Nightmare” at the start of the show. Zayn thought he was going to have a night off before he was told there was a replacement for Rhodes. Punk made his entrance in front of a loud crowd and defeated Zayn in the main event.

As Zayn headed backstage, he cut an emotional promo.

“I have a question,” Zayn began. “How is it that after 24 years of crawling and crawling every inch to get the WWE Title, after I finally got it, nine days after getting it, this piece of shit can come back here after being away for months, months, and waltz right in and get it? Any chance? This mother… uh. He has nothing to do. Nothing to do.”

Zayn broke down in tears when he realized his short title run was over.

Rhodes booked himself a triple threat match at Night of Champions to prove he was better than Zayn and Gunther. He miscalculated Zayn’s wrestling skills and was eliminated during the premium live event.

Rhodes returned to #1 last week on “Friday Night SmackDown” by defeating Jey Uso. But he didn’t get a chance to get back into the match because of Gunther’s beating.
