Texas School District agrees to repair the protection of girls sports

The office of the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, announced on Friday that the independent school district of Dallas (“ISD”) had accepted an order to ensure that the district does not violate the law of the State by allowing trans athletes to participate in the sports of girls.

The agreement comes after Paxton asked for files from Dallas ISD in February after the publication of a video who showed a school district manager explaining gaps to a parent and how they could obtain their biologically masculine child in a sports team for girls via a modified birth certificate.

The video, which was produced by an infiltrated media precision journalist, showed a coordinator of young LGBTQ ISD DALLAS ISD saying that Texas had not made any distinction between providing an original or updated birth certificate for admissibility to school sport.

“Always refined, you know? They find the shortcomings in everything,” said the advisor in the video.

“I tell people all the time, I will go to prison for saving their child’s life,” said the advisor. “I suppose that no conservative child came out gay.”

Later in January, an ISD school official in Irving was seen by telling an infiltration journalist in the same flaw in another precision in the media video.

“Could you legally change sex on a birth certificate? I do not know enough about this subject,” said ISD responsible for Irving in the video. “If you can do it and you turn us a birth certificate that says” this sex “is the sex with which we are going.”

Paxton then asked for an in -depth list of Dallas Isd and Irving ISD documents on February 6. On March 31, Paxton filed a legal petition to make deposits of the main officials of the Dallas ISD to ensure that the district did not violate Texas law by allowing biological men to participate in the sports of girls.

Now Paxton has concluded an agreement with the Dallas ISD to ensure that these escapes will not be exploited.

“I urge all the other school districts to fulfill their legal obligations to protect the sports of girls and to end any attempt to circumvent the law of Texas.

In June 2023, Texas adopted the Save Women’s Sports Act, which prohibits Trans athletes from participating in the sports of girls and women, and only enabled students to participate in the gender category indicated on their birth certificate. The law only allows schools to recognize the modifications made to birth certificates that have been made to correct an office error.
